Mermaid Purse

This seaside play mat is a perfect little purse to carry around and use when they need some quiet entertainment. It unfolds into a playmat and holds two wooden toys in its zippered pouch. It comes with a wooden mermaid and a wooden narwhal. It was designed and sewed by hand in my studio in upstate NY. This item was designed by myself and printed onto linen/ cotton fabric. The pocket holds the two wooden figures of a mermaid and a narwhal. These were made locally in Upstate NY from storm damaged trees. The front playmat side is printed on linen cotton canvas and shows a pirate ship and sunken treasure and a desert island. The backing fabric is a mermaid design in Organic Cotton fabric. The zippered pocket has a yellow canvas fabric inside. Flat the playmat is 11" high by 7" Folded up it is 6.5" high by 7" wide It is folded together and attached using a small elastic and button. The zippered pocket is 4" high by 6.75" wide The wooden figures are 3" by 1.25" The rope is 36" long
